Shutdown Window Fix

In 586, 786, Pentium I, you might have seen a screen when you will be shutting down the computer that says “It is safe to turn your computer off”. This means that there is something that has to be done before shutting the computer down.

Just imagine it like a document that you are making on any program. If you are typing something or maintaining some excel document, then unless you save it before closing, all data would be lost. Likewise the operating system is also responsible to save every thing that you do or it has to save the preferences that you define.

Think about if you are writing something on a notebook, and suddenly someone tries to snatch your notebook. Your pen might get some scratches on the notebook. Same is the case with the computers. When the computer is not shut down properly, the hard disk that is saving everything has to be stopped in a good manner otherwise it will get crashed.

If you have moved something on the desktop or you have just changed some preferences of your computer, then it will not be saved unless you do not shut down the computer safely. Same goes with the quick launch bar and every thing else that you can see on the desktop.

If you are not able to close your computer in a proper way using the shutdown button, its operating system or hard disk might get crashed. It does not mean that if your computer was accidentally switched off or something like that has happened then your computer will get crashed every time. Usually it happens after four or five times. However, nothing is guaranteed. It may get corrupt in the first attempt, or might be in the fiftieth one. All you have to care about is to shut down the computer properly using the shut down button. If you do not want to lost the windows that were open while you were working, you can use the hibernating option to hibernate the computer.

Nice application. Normally I'm pretty picky about what applications I put on my PC, but I am glad I took the chance on this one. The option to manually delete entries is great for IT professionals like myself. Keep up the good work.
